By Coach
CMC groups regularly uses a local coach company which has modern 52-seat coaches. Some return-trip sample prices include Manchester £580, Nottingham £760, Lowestoft £1120 (Drivers overnight B+B covered by customer). By Road
If coming from the south, the quickest route is via Shrewsbury, Welshpool, Dolgellau, Barmouth to Llanbedr. The CMC is located just off the A496, in between the villages of Harlech and Llanbedr. Go through the village of Llanbedr. 1/2 mile north of the village, just before the road goes uphill, there is a turning on the left marked with a railway sign. Take this turning, and the CMC is over the railway crossing. Please phone the signal box before crossing (pick up the yellow phone, and ask "Is it safe to cross at Pensarn" when it's answered).

Coming from the north, the quickest route is via Chester on the A55, Colwyn Bay, Betws y coed, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Maentwrog, Harlech. The CMC is located just off the A496, in between the villages of Harlech and Llanbedr. 2 miles south of Harlech, going past the village of Llanfair, come down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, as the road becomes flat and straight, you will see two houses on the left, one of which is painted white. Opposite these there is a small turning which is marked with a railway station sign. Turn right into this, and the CMC is over the railway crossing. Please phone the signal box before crossing (pick up the yellow phone, and ask "Is it safe to cross at Pensarn" when it's answered).

By Rail
The CMC is located next to Pensarn Station, and many groups choose to travel by train. At the ticket office please be sure to ask for Pensarn Halt Station on the Cambrian Coast railway to avoid confusion with Pensarn, Abergele. Adults travelling with railcards can purchase tickets at a vastly reduced rate and this can mean that a group can travel to the CMC more affordably.
