We have several opportunities throughout the year which may be of interest to you, whether you are on your own, with a friend, an unaccompanied child or adults with children and / or grandchildren; we will have an opportunity for you all!



  • Family Week
    17-24 August 2018.  £850 per family (2 x adults and 2 x children)  £80 per additional participant. 
    Join other families for a fun-filled week of activities. Spend time with your family, make new friends, enjoy being cooked for and having everything organised for you! With a full programme of activities for you to choose from, take part in as much or as little as you like.
  • Father & Sons - A weekend just for the boys!
    17-19 August 2018.  £175 for 1 adult and 1 child.  Any extra participant: £59 per person.
    Come and have an adventure together! Why not have 3 generations with grandfather, father and sons.

  • Mother & Daughters - A weekend just for the girls!
    24-26 August 2018.   £175 for 1 adult and 1 child.  Any extra participant: £59 per person.
    Why should the boys have all the fun?  Jump in and have some fun and adventure!  Enjoy the time you have together and laugh out loud!
  • Solo Parent & Child Weekend                                                                                                                               10-12 August 2018.  £175 for 1 adult and 1 child.  Any extra participant: £59 per person.                                           An unforgettable and action-packed weekend for any solo parent to enjoy with their child/children! Join other families to make the most of our beautiful landscape and escape busy lives!



We have a number of adventure days designed for young people.  These offer a variety of opportunities from a multi-activity adventure with new friends to learning new skills!

£30 per person per day or £45 per person for two days.  Each day stands alone so you can come for one or more of the days.  We'll make sure we take the adventure and the skills up a level for you if you would like to do more than one day on the same activity.








We also provide skills and experience based courses for adults.  Should you wish to gain a new skill, some qualifications in the outdoors or would like to enjoy the outdoors guided and led by us; we have a wide range of opportunities to meet your requirements.

If you would like a walking week, sailing course or any other type of week or weekend not listed here and have a few friends who would like to join you, we may be able to organise a bespoke course for you, dependent on availability.



We have a couple of options for you should you wish to visit us for a non-residential adventure.  You don’t have to be staying with us to enjoy the opportunities we have on offer.

  • School Holiday Adventure Sessions
    These activities include Rock Climbing / Abseiling, Kayaking, Gorge Walking and Stand Up Paddleboarding.
    Minimum age 8 years.
    ½ Day - £20  Full Day - £30
    Session times 9:30am-12:30pm and 2:00pm-4:30pm
    (Discount per person available if booking multiple sessions.)
  • Family Adventure Sessions - Minimum of 3 people
    You can pick you activity from any of those we offer. 
    Per Adult : ½  Day - £30  Full Day - £55
    Per Child : ½  Day - £20  Full Day - £30  
  • One to One & One to Two Instruction
    You may wish to improve skills or simply have a go at any of our activities on your own or with one other person.
    The cost for the instructor and equipment for up to two people will be :  ½ day - £75   Full Day - £150
  • Three Or More
    If there are 3 or more people who wish to take part in activities we charge per person.
    Per Adult : ½ Day - £30   Full Day - £55


Alternatively, you could stay in:


A 16th century self-catering holiday cottage set within 11 acres of woodland adjacent to Bryn-y-Moel Centre. The cottage comfortably sleeps 6  and has a spacious farmhouse kitchen fully equipped with aga, oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine and large family table.

Relax in the cosy lounge, complete with wood burner and television.  There is also the possibility of booking activities with us during your stay. Please do get in touch with the office for availability and possibilities.

Safety and Risk Management
AALAAt CMC we take the responsibility of safety and risk management very seriously. All of our staff are appropriately qualified for the activities they lead. We are inspected by the National Governing Bodies (see left) and meet their stringent standards. We have an AALA licence (Registration number L10638/R0191) covering the following activities; kayaking canoeing, paddle surfing, improvised rafting, sailing, paddle boarding, rock climbing, abseiling, sea level traversing, gorge scrambling, hill walking and mountaineering (summer conditions only). Licence details can be confirmed by calling the Licensing Service on: Tel 029 2075 5715. We employ the services of highly qualified and experienced “Technical Advisors” from outside of the centre who inspect and support our onsite team and facilities. Risk assessments are carried out for all activities and they are reviewed on a yearly basis. Copies of risk assessments and operating procedures are available on request from the office.
